Secondary and Teens

At Mosaic Dance Center we offer a diverse curriculum for our students ages 10 and up. Dancers are given the freedom to create a more personalized program that fits their individual needs.

Teen Advanced Level 4	13 +	Ballet. 75 min. This class is not a recital class but for those serious dancers. Drop-ins Welcome! $20 a class	Monday	6:00-7:30 pm
Pointe & Pre-Pointe	13 +	30 min., (Instructor placement only)	Monday	7:00-7:30 pm
Pre-Pro Ballet Lab	10+	60 minutes. Students enrolled in Dance Lab experience how technique, anatomy, music, artistry, and composition combine to create a well-rounded dancer, plus focusing on pre-professional work. This class will be doing Nutcracker exerts for the December show.	Friday	4:00-5:00 pm
Ballet Level 3	8-10	Intermediate level with 3 years of experience. This is technique only. No recital. Drop-ins welcome $15 a class.	Monday	5-6 pm
Hip Hop Pom:
Teen Hip Hop	9+ yr. old	Hip Hop (Clean Converse type of Shoe)	Wednesday	6:30-7:30 pm

Baton:
Advanced Baton/Jazz	7 +	Beg-Advanced. 60 min, (Nude Jazz shoes), Batons are provided and then instructor can order your own personal baton once measured, cost is around $30.	Monday	6:30-7:30 pm
Jazz:
Jazz Level 2	9+	60 min, (jazz shoes or turning shoe)	Thursday	5:30-6:30 pm

Acro/Hoop Theory:
Intermediate Acro	7+	(Leotard required), (must be able to do a cartwheel, handstand and bridge) Must be working on front and back walkovers	Tuesday	5:30-6:30 pm
Intermediate Acro PLUS	7+	(Leotard and pants) must have a year of acro for strength and balancing. This class is acro, ballet technique and intro to hoop.	Thursday	5:30-6:30 pm
Advanced Acro	10+	Must be able to do aerials and backhand springs	Tuesday	7:30-8:30 pm
Acro Dance for Gymnast Int/Adv	8+	(Leotard required) (must have front and back walkovers). Let the Mosaic Acro coaches bring up your score on floor and beam. Inquire with us!	Privates
